…and yet the hurt that my “friends” have caused me is nothing compared to the joy that I feel when I listen to Julia Nunes’ Music.
I know that I may seem a little obsessed at times, staying up to the wee hours of the night to watch her perform on Conan, using her lyrics in day to day conversations, but all the hard work that she has put in to get where she is is inspiring. I can only imagine what hardships she has encountered to get where she is today.
And maybe having a few shitty “friends,” or eating alone in a high school cafeteria is not the worst thing ever.
It might hurt, but it isn’t the end of the world.
Julia Nunes is like my superhero.
